Yuri Melnichenko

Yuri Melnichenko is a Greco-Roman wrestler, two-time World and Asian Champion, and the champion of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

He is an Honoured Master of Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan. After completing his athletic career, he actively contributed to the development of Greco-Roman wrestling in the country and served as the head coach of the Kazakhstan national Greco-Roman wrestling team.
